Speaking of: Textiles
The next session of our symposium series is just around the corner. This time, we’re diving into the world of textiles—exploring the theme from three complementary angles: Mads Barfod, fresh from his win on the DR show Danmarks næste tøjdesigner, will represent the spark and joy of creation. Sara Diaz, founder of the Berlin-based company Hilo Textiles, develops open-source tools for textile repurposing, showing an example of how to make recycling more accessible. Finally,
Kirsti Reitan Andersen, professor at KADK, brings more than a decade of global textile research to the stage. Her work connects the dots between academia, industry, and sustainable methodology.
In between the talks, we’ll have a vinyl DJ providing atmospheric tunes, affordable drinks at our bar, and Arabic-inspired vegetarian food from DoMore’s own food truck.
Please RSVP through link below. We can’t wait to spend this afternoon with you!
