2024 —

LAB-17 will be Copenhagen's open workshop and knowledge hub for sustainable solutions. Set to become a vibrant space in the heart of the city, LAB-17 aims to foster a collaborative environment where people of all ages can come together to build, share, and learn, driving innovation for a sustainable future.

OUR VISION

Imagine walking through the lush, green area of Halmtorvet, surrounded by charming buildings. To your left, you encounter an open and inviting hall bustling with activity. The café offers a view into the lively heart of the space, where a wide entrance reveals an exhibition on sustainable materials and a diverse crowd, both young and old, eagerly working in the workshops.

Inside, there's space for a school class exploring technology, an artist creating a piece for the Copenhagen Light Festival, and a startup developing a new growth sensor for regenerative farming.

LAB-17 will empower the next generation of creators by providing a place to build, share, and learn, fostering a culture of innovation through collaboration across ages, professions, and interests.
